Too bad it will not be available on prepaid, Verizon should really change that policy.

3. oddmanout posted on 22 May 2009, 09:07

I KNOW! I wish Verizon didn't require those huge deposits. My credit isn't good but its not that bad. $400 for a deposit. Thats ridiculous. Thats almost as much as what I would pay for a year of service. And there prepaid (impulse) stinks. There arent any good phones and the only decent ones cost an arm and a leg. And there arent any unlimited text or data plans for prepaid. I wish they didnt get rid of there post pay plan.

7. CODYPHOBIA posted on 22 May 2009, 11:22

There actually is an unlimited plan for unlimited text on PrePay. Its $20 a month. And in addition....there is an unlimited talk plan too that averages $120/month (which is the same as the regular accounts when you figure in the regular accounts have tax on them) As for the deposits...keep in mind they are only for one year (assuming you pay your bills) and then you get your $$ back with more interest than you can get on your savings account at the bank. With this said...the ONLY downside is the phone selection.

Every dumbphone for Verizon pretty much can go on prepaid. You just have to pay a lot more for the phone...

The EnV Touch is much better than this. Its practically the same phone as the EnV2. All they did was bump up the camera to 3MP and made the external screen a tad bit bigger. Woo. Not. Why would anyone upgrade to this over the enV2 seeing that it, for the most part, is the same phone.

9. LGVX1993 posted on 22 May 2009, 14:16

Well theres not much difference between the Voyager and EnV Touch either. You also forgot that this phone has an HTML browser, flash on the camera, bigger internal screen, redesigned keyboard, and also threaded and quick messaging.

how bout everyone stops complaining about no big changes, the envy line is a hugely popular line, so why tweak it?....ive seen the new one in person and its going to be a huge seller, and actually its alot diffrent, smaller, lighter, thinner, and the slate blue is very nice looking, its going to be a big seller just like the previous versions, and as far as the deposit goes, if you have bad credit, fix it!....verizon is smart, they dont want every last yahoo having service then canceling it every week, and getting a new phone, why do you think we have the lowest churn in the industry

You know i am a big fan of the Env phones I just hope they are fixing the huge amounts of problems these phones became known for such as the "ok" button and the constant freezing

8. bigfanboyred posted on 22 May 2009, 11:55

this phone is a nice bump up. people like their env, so bumping the camera, html browser, & larger external display is perfect. if it ain't broken don't fix it- to all the haters!

it's a very trendy and sleek looking phone.

I think it's gonna be great...I've had both the enV and enV2, and I plan on getting the enV Touch next month. Only complaint is THIS (the enV3) should've been the enV2...

12. YelloPhase posted on 22 May 2009, 23:21

gonna get EnV Touch. my contract ended in april and i was thinkin about the voyager, but its kinda thick and outdated, then i liked the versa, but its kinda pricey and iunno... now EnV Touch is out. JUST IN TIME. so glad i waited till now to upgrade.. THANK YOU LG!!!

13. slashmaster2 posted on 23 May 2009, 00:20

im stuck with the voyager now and i hate it. once my contract is up im getting the slate blue one of the enV3. no offense to lg but they need to make their touch screens better. possibly capacitive touch instead of pressure sensitive?

15. stello124 posted on 24 May 2009, 12:08

I spoke to a Verizon rep at one of their stores, and she had no idea what I was talking about regarding the Env3, nor the EnvTouch. Must not have read the memo. lol.

16. metalpoet posted on 27 May 2009, 11:46

when i had my env2 i thought it was an awesome idea and a great phone, it is the only phone i ever had that i wasnt tired of after 6 months but eventually i got the lg dare. I have actually played with the env3 and env touch and there both awesome phones but i would go with the env touch when my upgrade comes up unless verizon can come up with another phone that kicks lg dare's ass.
