The LG Pop GD510 hits the 1mln. mark

The LG Pop GD510 is a capable and affordable handset equipped with touch-sensitive screen that has impressed us with its design. Apparently, quite a few people are of the same opinion and share our liking for the device, because the cell phone has been sold in excess of 1 mln. units to date. It rolled out in Europe and the countries of the former Soviet Union about 100 days ago, but appeared on other markets shortly after. LG states that there are several key factors that have contributed to the great market success - the handset comes with compact size, social networking capabilities, eco-friendly features and finally, in more than six color solutions and as of next month, the LG Pop GD510 will become available in two extra color schemes - aqua blue and lime.

Why does Europe get all the good phones? Not that this is the best phone out there but it seems to me that Europe gets the best phones and then America occasionally gets a lousy "American Verison" which is nothing remotely great. Like with the LG Chocolate BL40 but America got the LG Chocolate Touch. That's just one of dozens of examples.
