Take the LG Optimus G Pro, shrink the screen down to a smaller 5 inch size, and you have the LG Optimus GK which is designed to take on the Samsung Galaxy S4; right now, the LG Optimus GK is destined to be launched in LG's backyard of South Korea only, and has some of the same features found on the LG Optimus G Pro such as VR Panorama and dual video recording...

LG Optimus GK
139.1*69.9* 9.9 mm
136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm
500mAh is not everything

You really think you'll notice a few millimeters in height or width? In thickness, yes there's a difference of 2 mm but the difference in height and width is minimal. And 500mAh isnt everything but atleast its something. I'm pretty sure this phone will feel better in hand because of the added weight.

larger battery doesn't necessarily means better battery life.. we all know how crappy lg is in optimising software with hardware.. not being a fanboy, its one of the universal truths in smartphone world

You obviously dont know what you are talking about. The battery life on my Optimus G is great. Every Optimus G owner will say the same.

i have checked the reviews on youtube and battery life is less than that of the s3 despite being the same battery size

Many reviews actually had the OG beating the s3 in battery life. Screen time is comparable but the OG destroys the s3 in talk time.

Does anyone remember it be reported that the Optimus G Pro would be available in a 5inch variant in certain markets in addition to the 5.5inch variant available now in South Korea & soon AT&T? I believe it was actually reported here on P.A.....
