The HTC One M8 offers quite an array of accessories

0. phoneArena 25 Mar 2014, 11:52 posted on

If you were a fan of the accessories that HTC offered for the original One (M7), then you'll be pretty happy to know that essentially all of those accessories will be updated to support the new HTC One (M8), at least those that need updating. This means that at launch, the HTC One (M8) will have a pretty impressive array of accessories from which to choose...

The dot case really looks awesome. Elegant and useful.

There is holes in the cover to allow backlight from the screen.

I thought about that too... but doesn't that drain the battery of a regular LCD screen? It does not seem to have AMOLED tech, right?

It is basically turning the whole display On just to be filtered by pretty holes on the case?... then I rather have a transparent lid

It's a new type Of IPS, less power hungry, but anyways, the display is virtually all on (IPS screens need to be on in order to cast black within the pixel's).

Can't see developer edition there (maybe cause I'm outside the US and internet became more trashy after they started with the annoying region blocks) But I'll be in for One, even with the disappointment of the camera. Can't say I didn't think of Z1 Compact too, but Z1 is taking way too long to come officially to the US. And the One has this beautiful yet useful cover too :)

If I order this phone I too will be buying this cover. Does it use led or something else?
