0. phoneArena 08 Mar 2014, 16:41 posted on

We've seen a number of leaks showing off the HTC One (2014). The most recent picture shows the eagerly awaited device wearing Telus colors. The aluminum clad-device will feature a 5 inch screen (.3 inch larger than the display on the soon to be All Old HTC One) with a 1080 x 1920 resolution, a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM with a dual-camera set up in the back...

Am I the only one wondering what the Hell my state of Virginia has to do with SD cards being implemented on the New One? Or was the author referring to a person named Virginia?

Seriously, WTF is he talking about?

Thanks! This biased author could have elaborated on that, or just answered my post if he was doing his job.

Must be nice to get paid for writing confusing BS articles in your underwear, from the comfort of your own home.

They're saying there will be two 5 mp cameras for a 13.1 mp image. Not sure how that adds up though lol.

I'm guessing they are taking two identical images and adding them together to produce a better looking end photo that has similar detail to a downsampled 13.1mp camera?

I feel like....There is no longer a need to announce this. This phone is the most leaked device. I don't think there is gonna be that great surprise or wooow Anymore. The only thing I'm interested about this phone is the Camera, just like the technology implemented in the S5 they both look very interesting. Cause so far it's specs are no different than the Z2 or S5.

Curious, which other they've leaked?
Been with Telus since AGT, never noticed them leak anything ever.

I've always thought that the Lumia 925 was the sexiest smartphone ever created even more so than HTC one which got a lot of well deserved praise, HTC borrowed the black strip at the top and bottom corners which the Lumia 925 has.

No to what exactly?, I've used both Lumia 925 and HTC. In my opinion Lumia 925 from the front side, HTC backside is really pretty, HTC one vs Lumia 925.

HTC is pretty smart to adopt that strip that Lumia 925 has, its distinct.

That would be valid if the One didn't predate the 925. All they did with the new One was get rid of the center band that ran between the front and back and wrap the back around to the front, carrying the antenna separation bands to the front.

Indeed HTC one predates the Lumia 925, I agree with you with everything else you said they got rid of but in doing so it looks like Lumia 925 strips from the front.

Considering the HTC One was released before the Lumia 925, I would say Nokia borrowed it from them... But, the iPhone 4 had plastic strips on it's metal sides as well. It's not for design, it's to allow radio signals to pass through the metal strip.

Yeah, they are just separators to prevent attenuation. Most metal phones have them.

Seperators/Metal strip etc no one is deny that they did not exist before Lumia 925 but let's not kid ourselves HTC one prides itself on beautiful hardware, its not just a coincidence that the strips are black wrap around.

Not even the clunky iPhone 4 had 50% of it's front occupied by bezels. Quit over exaggerating.

Instead of "Ultrapixels", they decided to add a new feature called Ultrabezels. UGGGLY. And you people mock Samsung's decision choices. As for the supposed specs listed in the article. HTC won't be making S5 buyers have any kind of remorse for not having their phone lol.
