The HTC Hermes and HTC Star Trek

HTC Hermes

The first images and short specs of the HTC Wizard's successor have popped out. The HTC Hermes is Pocket PC phone that highly resembles to the Wizard, and will probably have 416 MHz Intel processor (instead of the frail 195 MHz of the Wizard) with support for quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS and maybe even HSDPA. Other features include 320 x 240 QVGA display, full QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, 2.1 mega pixel camera with flash plus second camera for video calls. The device is expected to be available sometime in May 2006.

HTC Star Trek

The HTC Star Trek is a smartphone with the size of a RAZR V3, but slightly thicker:

  The main features were reported to be quad-band GSM/EDGE/GRPS, 320 x 240 QVGA display, Bluetooth, 2 mega pixel camera with flash, TI OMAP processor with 64 RAM, micro-SD expansion slot and approximate release date of March 2006.
