The 4,000mAh Lenovo P70 arrives in Europe for roughly $300, full specs and official renders in store
Yesterday we shared the news that the Lenovo P70, which comes with a large 4,000mAh battery that allegedly provides up to 46 days of standby time, has been launched in China for a price tag equivalent of roughly $224. Initially, we were not quite sure if the phone was to land on European soil or remain China-exclusive.

It just became clear that the Lenovo P70 is indeed headed towards the Old Continent, as it has already popped up in online stores. However, it will be a tad more expensive - its price will gravitate towards the 300-dollar mark. Yet, we are still pessimistic that the P70 will jump across the pond and arrive in the USA.

The version of the phone that will be sold in Europe comes with a 5" 720p display, an octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset that can hum up to 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, as well as 16GB of native storage, a microSD card support; there's also a 13MP camera at the back, while a more modest 5MP one graces the front side of the phone. From the looks of it, these specs are slightly better than the ones that reportedly grace the Chinese version of the device.

We also have LTE support and two micro SIM card slots. The operating system of choice is Android 4.4.4 KitKat, almost certainly with Lenovo's own Vibe UI running atop. The highlight of the phone is, of course, its 4,000mAh battery, which is said to provide a staggering standby battery life of up to 34 days and talk-time of up to 46 hours.

We also have some official new renders of the phone. Anyone interested?

Why not make a mini that have 32gb storage and 4000mAh battery that can compete with the Z compact series? 4 inch display lovers sure do get ignored easily by phone manufacturers.

Extensively copying designs of iPhones and Xperias. Plus the UI.

Here in Bulgaria several really big stores for tech are selling the phone for about a month. It already arrived here some time ago and it's not something to put in the news...
