All well and good for spirituality, but I would hazard a guess that charitable contributions don't erase being a narcissistic magalomaniac who tries to eke every penny out of their supply chain and workforce, especially when suicides and negative health effects stem from it.

Ohh my.

What do Thai Monks know about tech? I thought Monks lived their lives the old way, away from technology.

Something about this seems very off.

Yeah... supposedly Asian monks are not supposed to own any gadgets. They're supposed to restrict themselve from any materialistic need/want and keep living their life to the simplist.

Yes something seems wrong here,I don't think any Buddhist practice would agree that an individual who'declared nuclear war' on a fellow human or company while also simultaneously looking to maximise full potential material possession and wealth extracted in his earthly days from those in a less fortunate position than himself would be considered a divine or highly ascended being

Most of the monks we see nowadays barely practices any of the traditional practices (altho they SHOULD). They drive cars, watch tv, use iPod eat spaghetti and pizzas... They are living the life, in a very vegetarian way. Not to mention many of them are unbelievably rich.

I am skeptical of this as Jobs left behind bad karma - in the afterlife that is not good.

where is Jobs now: he is in paradise of course as god has pardoned him for trying to destroy Android.

Charitable nature? BULLS**T! He never gave a cent to charity, he didn't believe in philanthropy, he denied paternity on his first born son. He was supposed to split the money he and Steve Wozniak made from making Breakout 50/50, Atari gave them $5000 but only gave Woz $350 and lied said that they only go $700. He was also a ruthless spoiled brat of a tyrant when running his company and tried to sue anyone that made a better product than him. And lets not forget about his $1 a year salary and offshore bank accounts so he didin't have to pay taxes.

If he was reincarnated he'd be a slug, not some divine being in a parallel universe. I think if that monk wasn't on crack and knew what kind of person Jobs really was he'd have a different opinion.

That's what I recall. I never heard about Jobs donating any money ever. The monks' statement about Jobs' charitable donations pretty much destroys any credibility they might have had.

"Apart from that the new divine being has about 20 celestial servants at his service which comes from karma he obtained from charitable nature during his human form like donating money, objects and knowledge for others and society."

You mean the charitable act of robbing his partner and eventual Apple co-founder, "The Woz" of his fair share of the bonus from their Atari days? Or are you referring to the " I will spend every last dime of Apple's fortune to right this wrong" attitude towards Android?

Be a good, obedient Apple customer and you too may have the hope of being re-incarnated as a celestial servant to your master, Steve Jobs.

Ok putting all the rivalry aside between companies. I was really saddened at Steve's passing. No matter what business strategies he used, the fact is he took a company that was practically going to go bankrupt and made it into the world's richest company thanks to very clever marketing. I still think he was one of the greatest minds of his generation. Even Bill Gates visited him a few months before his death, and they made peace with each other. He too admitted to Steve's talents. Talked about their journey and what they have reached. But, the man is simply dead, nothing more. He's not in a parallel anything. Next thing you know he faked his death like Tupac Shakur and is living in some exotic island in Turkey.

Hologram keynote presentation of the next iPhone perhaps?
