Would you pay $150 to send a text message, because if you get caught texting and driving in the State of New York, that is how much you will be fined...

the survey sample size is pretty small... 829 people to accurately represent a nation of 300 or so million.

I live in NY. This law, just like the hands-free law, will never be enforced. And, just like the hands-free law, cops will violate this law all day, every day.
