Poor guy.

Though I'll lose a bit of sympathy for him if he sues Blackberry over this.

This story is from England; they have enough dignity over there to not sue over something you did to yourself and act like it's something someone should've prevented.

30. ayephoner posted on 02 Oct 2012, 14:10 13 1

i have lost sympathy for him because he is still using a blackberry.

16. Mittal posted on 02 Oct 2012, 11:16 7

6. MartyK posted on 02 Oct 2012, 10:39 10

hahahaha...Common sense judge!!....

can you imagine looking into the eyes of your student, boys and girls with their parents?...hahahah

7. daniel_bargs posted on 02 Oct 2012, 10:57 8

im sure he was not aware when he sent it! who the hell's gonna send sultry text to a family member? to a student, can be. to his gf, can be. but to his family is a proof of innocence haha

35. PAPINYC (limited) 5 days ago posted on 02 Oct 2012, 15:54 2 1

Nevertheless, it doesn't excuse him for sending the mass-text in the first place. That's exactly what is wrong with the World today (especially corporate America), people no longer pay attention to detail and then, when they make mistakes or screw-up, they want allowances with a simple iSorrryyyy. Just take a look at Apple and their Apple Maps fiAsco??

I say triple his jail time to 54 months: 18 months for the mass-text and twice as long for using a Blackberry.

36. TROLL posted on 02 Oct 2012, 15:56 1

Well said! i agree.

Poor man... Well... this is what happen to technology uninformed...

He should have got an Android... or at least an iPhone, though he might get into auto-correction Fails often...

anyway, it was an obvious misunderstanding

21. cfprelude posted on 02 Oct 2012, 11:57 1

i have an iphone but have used all others and i'd say its MUCH more likely to send erroneous texts to people on an iPhone than any other device. with auto "reply all" to mms messages when imessage and group messaging is on it can be down right dangerous. I've personally seen so many messages sent to all from various iphone users replying hours later to a group message but meaning it to be 1-1... prefect example was my bf sending out a pic of his yr old son to family and friends last week and then when his wife got off work she replied... "awww, thanks for the pic hun. just what i need after a long day... know what else i need? one hint: i'm not wearing any panties"....shouldve seen all the replies from moms and thjose of us friends that like to bust balls. lol. No lie that was less than a month ago and an iphone disaster.

9. shadowcell posted on 02 Oct 2012, 10:58 10

.....Well? It's only a happy ending if he did INDEED get that "skin on skin" sex.

13. buccob posted on 02 Oct 2012, 11:04 5

hopefully just from his girlfriend........

33. TheRetroReplay posted on 02 Oct 2012, 15:18 2

I've done something similar, a really hot friend of mine sent me a picture of herself in an outfit that she bought, but she also sent it to a bunch of her other friends to show them, I replied with a pretty dirty text, only I replied to everyone on accident. I got a tidal wave of messages back from everyone on that list and had to explain what happened.

41. Nadr1212 posted on 02 Oct 2012, 22:31

I got 3 things to say. First, who uses RIM &/or Blackberry anymore? 2ndly, what's wrong with you, I mean skin on skin sex?!?! What the bells wrong with U!!!! And lastly, haaah that's so haaaa-larious!!!!!!!!!!

43. Nikolas.Oliver (limited) 4 days ago posted on 03 Oct 2012, 01:23

44. ibap posted on 03 Oct 2012, 06:38

I don't think I know how to send a text to EVERY contact in my address book, and I think I'll keep it that way.

47. vvelez5 posted on 03 Oct 2012, 13:30

The UK judicial system spent all that money to try someone over some stupid mistake. Glad out justice system is not the only one that's messed up.
