Texas Instruments finally showed a reference design hardware powered by its upcoming OMAP 5 platform. The chipset is expected to start landing in a few devices come Q4 of this year, with the beginнing of 2013 registering much more product announcement with it, as per TI's head of product development...

I'd say late 2012 and 2013 is shaping up to be a great year from phones/pads!

Now all we need are a few technology breakthrough in batteries and we'll be back to having phones that can last a whole day.. on LTE!
