Temple Run could be getting the Hollywood treatment

No, you didn't misread that headline. We're not saying that Temple Run is getting a cartoon deal, or a kid's TV show, or even a run of merchandise (beyond the board game that already exists). There is a new report that says the endless runner game could soon be in the works as a full Hollywood blockbuster...

Well, I'm sure they can't screw it up as badly as they screwed up Battleship. I mean, the premise of Battleship was practically written for them; all they needed to do was have a slugout between two period World War 2 fleets, which would have been awesome. Instead they tried to force the gameplay into a plot with Transformers aliens with MJOLNIR suits.

Well, this just made me look at my computer screen like Beyonce looked at that fan on her tour when she put the mic in the fan's face.

I don't get the reference, but I'm sure I looked at my screen the same way you (and Beyonce) looked when I saw a reference to Beyonce in our comment thread.

Did Hollywood not learn their lesson from the tomb raider movies. I seemed to be the only one who liked AJ as LC, but then again I like her in anything.

Interested to see how the man dies, as most of the time hero never dies. Let's see how he's being rescued in the near future.

Raiders of the Lost Ark! Its already been done, although the movie was the inspiration for the game, I believe. Indiana Jones was great (except for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), but time to do something better. If history is any witness, book/game adaptations suck big time! All HP movies were dumbed down and only some parts were done well. Except for LOTR (obviously), Hobbit, and few exceptions I don't see this panning out well.
Don't think there's potential of actually a good storyline for a guy running with an idol. Hopefully it won't be like a stupid Disney movie like the Lone Ranger. XD
