Me too! Enough "spec wars". i'm going for design. I'm waiting to see what the G3 brings first though.

This will be a fiasco again, if it has a 2600mah battery.

$229? Smartphone is not a good investment it's already equivalent to your monthly fees for a car payment.

You have probably been locked to the 2-year contract thingy for a long time.

It looks like it's going to be almost exactly the same as last year's One, except for the minor change in the camera. Really not worth the price. If you want a beautiful, premium phone then get last year's One because it will be much better value and almost the same in terms of design and probably specs.

You are very wrong, the all new one is going to have better specs in every department against it's predecessor, bigger screen with much thinner bezels on the sides and a much louder boom sound speakers, faster Cpu and gpu, bigger battery, hopefully a better camera, front facing is rumored many times it would have 5mp, the whole device is covered in aluminum rather then plastic on the sides of the one 2013 etc. It's worth the upgrade

If the battery is going to be 2600mah like the leaks mention, then that Is disappointing no matter what. Compared to the G2 and the z2 which are pretty much the same size, it just doesnt cut it.
I sold my htc one and got the g2 for that reason. I think any phone thats going to cost over $600 at 2014 must have an outstanding battery.
