Good move by Apple. Kindle fire isn't really a competitor anyway, but some uneducated customers may get tricked by a bad sales rep into buying it thinking it will be like an iPad.

Yeah, great move - buy an overpriced tablet with limited storage capacity, limited market ability, and limited...err none, USB connectivity.

Too bad it's rated the best tablet on the market

Lemmings do not know any better - look at the history of our country in terms of products:

NES beat SEGA, despite an inferior product.
Mac vs. Windows

It all comes down to how it is marketed and not the actual product.

You forgot.... VHS vs Betamax. HD DVD vs Bluray.

This move by Target typifies what APPLE wants - total domination by an inferior product. Using sly marketing to lure people into thinking that they are getting a great value for the products received.
APPLE hates choices, but do not entirely blame them - blame people, who are oblivious to the fact that there are choices out there, and for a better value.
Target must really be wanting APPLE's business so badly, that they arte willing to shut out the number 2 tablet on the market.
Luckily, the few and wise consumers, such as myself, know how to shop.
Speaking of shopping, why shop for anything in stores, when you can get it cheaper on sites like ebay or Amazon.com.

Other than food products, I generally agree. I hate going into stores shopping. I'm surprised people do still go into stores for things other than necessities.

Word on the street is that its not really an apple take over rather target is dimishing amazon products because Amazon.com is a huge competitor to the chain. I really dont like apple or its sheeps, but it really makes sense to stop selling products in your store if its making money for your competitor....

its like if burger kings started selling big macs, it just doesn't make sense.

So now they can stop selling ipads from their mini apple store as they will be competing with the big apple store.

Not really, apple only focuses on selling their product, where as Amazon sells everything from clothes to electronics, Amazon is way more if a financial threat than apple.

It wouldn't be so bad if they just told the truth i.e., Apple told us we couldn't carry both. But for Target to eliminate a product under the guise of wanting to "deliver the best quality and prices for our guests" is pure BS. Liars.

If you can't pay off judges to ban them then just pay off the stores. Well played Apple, well played!

Wow, so what's next? Other phones, game systems, computers, maybe even TV's? Maybe the entire electronics and music section will be nothing but Apple products. Wouldn't that be horrible.
