THL Monkey King and THL W200 leak out in images and video

White box Chinese manufacturers are definitely stepping up their game and the luring possibility of buying a 5-inch 1080p device with a powerful quad-core chip for around $200 off contract is very tempting for those on budget.

Now, THL, one of the better known Chinese phone makers with a history in building Android devices, is preparing to launch a new device that is both affordable and comes with a brand new design language. The device is the THL Monkey King, and it has just leaked out in images and video.


There is another device that leaks out along with the Monkey King, and that is the THL W200. The W200 is similar in that it also features a 5-inch display and a MT6589T chip, but it’s less sharp with the screen only being 720p one and the cameras on it being an 8-megapixel rear one and a 5-megapixel front one.

Pricing for the upcoming devices is not yet announced, but the THL W200 has shown up for pre-order on some Chinese sites listed for around $200.
