TELUS says Android 4.3 coming to HTC One by the end of this month

Canadian carrier TELUS has posted its schedule of upcoming software updates and lo and behold, on the schedule is the HTC One; apparently, TELUS customers toting the Taiwan based handset manufacturer's Android flagship model (that's a mouthful), will soon be getting their HTC One updated to the last of the Jelly Bean builds, Android 4.3...

This is great. Keep up the pace HTC, I want to see a 4.4 update by January or February!

I still don't believe the US will get the update before the rest of the world.... That's the opposite of reality.

Papa , we know, we're both waiting for gnote3, but don't make me feel frustrate for this update, I'm waiting for these for so long.

ohh really!!!...btw what all they update...it always looks the same with few extra useless icons. #ios7 is most ugly OS i have ever seen.

I would rather have a customized version of an older Android version than a stripped down version of the latest version of iOS. The iPhone 4 runs absolutely horrible on iOS 7, and it doesn't even get to have all the features of it because Apple removes more features from the update the further back the generation.
I would much rather have the original Galaxy S (released in the same year as the iPhone 4), which is on 2.3 right now than an iPhone 4. Not only does it have the FULL feature set of 2.3, but it also has additional features from Touchwiz that makes it more useful. Also, in my experience, it runs MUCH better than the iPhone 4.

Hey Telus, did you forget about the OneX and X+.
When the Frakkin carrier is involved, nothing is simple or timely.

Im happy with 4.1 so that fact that they're going to 4.3 is a nice surprise, though I am not holding my breath. These tech companies want to have latest software on their latest devices, it does not make sense, from their perspective, to bring the new OS to a device over one year old.
