And you consider yourselves adults? Judging someone instantly like that isn't a good move.

Why does the Sidekick get Android? The OS on the Sidekick is nice, it doesn't need android. Now if we want a Sidekick we have to pay for the stupid Android data plan.

The data plans on t-mobile are the same for all smartphones on t-mobile's lineup. $30 for unlimited web. The sidekick unlimited data and text plan for $20 ended when the sidekick lx 2009 (first SK with 3G) came out.
And if anything, its better that the new sk runs on android seeing that with the danger OS (sidekick os), you dont have the option of turning off background data. The danger OS constantly pushes data to and from your phone so you wouldn't be able to use the 200 mb data plan option if you wanted to save money off your bill. With android you have that option.
Oh and you won't have to worry about the whole sidekick data loss debacle anymore because with android, everything can be backed up through google's servers. I don't see how anyone would prefer the danger os over android... there's just so much with android. You'll get access to wifi, tons of apps, and so much more customization. With the danger OS, you couldn't even change your wallpaper and you were limited to a dpad and scroll bar for navigation. Trust me, android is a definite improvement to the sidekick line.
