T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy Note 4 receives update that will improve battery life

21comments

Some T-Mobile subscribers who ordered the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, are just beginning to receive their new phablet. And no sooner are they gently removing their new pride and joy from the box, then a notification pops up about an update. While the 65.67MB update basically kills some bugs and makes the device more stable, it also adds additional life to the 3220mAh battery employed by the handset.

The update is being sent out OTA, which means that you will receive a notification when it is ready to be downloaded and installed on your Galaxy Note 4. If you are the impatient type (and when it comes to additional battery life, aren't we all?) you can always try to coax the update out by going to the settings menu to see if it is available.

T-Mobile started sending out the device as soon as last Friday to a lucky few, while others should be receiving their Galaxy Note 4 today.
