T-Mobile's Galaxy S7 Nougat beta users start getting the official Android 7.0 update

T-Mobile, however, is almost ready with the update, it seems, as it has started pushing retail Nougat with the new Samsung UX overlay to its Galaxy S7 and S7 edge users who subscribed for the beta version of the update. That's exactly how it played out with the international versions, too - the beta program ran for about a month before those phones started getting the real deal, and then Samsung announced the official rollout to all. If the same scheme is valid for the US carrier units, it shouldn't be long before they start updating their models with the sweet stuff. 

The rumors are for a general availability starting February 24th, but if you are a Nougat beta users on T-Mobile, yesterday Samsung started pushing a 115 MB update that will make your S7 and S7 edge officially running the latest Nougat update. According to Samsung's Customer Consultant Guide, there are apparently no less than twenty new features and visuals that will be introduced with the Nougat software. Some of these, like the App shortcuts for default Samsung apps, the enhanced Doze or the multi-window mode, are inherent to Android 7, but many others, like the ability to change the native screen resolution, belong to Samsung's new UX.
