T-Mobile's 3G service now available in parts of Texas and Florida
Being one of the last major domestic carriers to get into the 3G scene, T-Mobile has been quietly expanding their service around the country. Today brings even more joyful news as residents located in Florida and Texas are expected to receive some much needed love. So if you've held off on getting a new phone because there's no 3G service in your area, now is probably the best time. The cities in Florida that are getting the upgrade are Lakeland,  Sarasota, Spring Hill, Bradenton, and Weeki Wachee. As far as Texas goes, it looks like residents of Bryan, Galveston, Beaumont, and College Station can rejoice. If you currently live in those areas and own a T-Mobile 3G enabled device, you're probably making the best out of it right now.

Yeah, honestly. They are apparently really good outside the U.S., it's good to see them come up and really improve themselves. This will be a good thing... competition!

T-Mobile is pretty good, obviously better than Sprint as far as coverage and phone selection. It's surprising how they were the last major network to roll out a 3G. They have really been making a name for themselves in the past few years.

vzwfann15=dumbass.... tmobile better than sprint? are you serious, look at your comment, " the last major network to roll out a 3G" i want to know how does that make them better than sprint and the phone selection? ok i give them the new sidekick and the G1 is ok but what else. now dont get me wrong i am also glad to see tmobile getting better and is great for the customers, i am sure they will be happier w/ the faster speeds and better coverage. but they have to realiaze everyone else is already made moves to 4g/wimax and LTE.
