hahaha i swear if samsung made that mini GS3 at 4.3 inches with some top notch specs.........i may just consider getting it seriously.....lol

I love the specs.. its just ... soooo...damn... big. lol. I want to move up from my old 4 inch SGS1. But I just dont think I can go the whole way to 5.3 lol.

go for the Korean version, at least you get 2GB of RAM, Quad Core Exynos, LTE and 32GB base. The only con is the pentile matrix.
12. remixfa posted on 04 Oct 2012, 06:30 3 0
umm.. knock knock??? whos there? YOU CRAZY!
The American version is the exact same. There is NO PENTILE on ANY version of the Note2. Its all RGB-HD.
The Tmobile version has both HSPA+ and LTE as well as RGB-HD, 2 gig ram, quad exynos, 3200mah battery, on and on and on.
I wouldnt be interested in it if it was an inferior version. That's why I passed up both the SGS2, Note1, and SGS3.

I think he was referring to the GSIII.
For my part, I'm going for the GNOTE II. With such specs and features, I just don't care about the size. Its screen is gorgeous! Some may say that amoled colours aren't natural blablabla.. But I don't care either. I just want my stuff to look good on my screen.

I'll take super amoled over LCD any day of the week. Those pure blacks make a big difference. Besides, if you think its too saturated, there are apps that can tone it down for you. Its not permanent, its just a setting.

i was talking about the Galaxy S3 man... the korean version is the most powerful S3 of all, and also i mentioned that because you told us that you love the new note 2 specs, but you don't love how big it it, so the korean version of the s3 is the most similar one to the note 2 in specs, without the non-pentile screen and s-pen features.

yea, except I dont live in Korea, nor does the Korean version support TMobile HSPA+ :)

The US version is supposed to be the exactly the same, with the possible exception of variant sizes (yet to be seen).

Believe it or not, one of the main reasons I'm getting it, is for the that massive screen! No more of the days that I'll have to put on glasses to read my screen! Can't freaking wait!!!!
19. remixfa posted on 04 Oct 2012, 09:40 0 0
lol. If it doesnt bother me in pocket, I'll probably get it... unless there is a nexus with similar/better specs with a slightly smaller screen. It's the first US phone ive gotten excited over in quite some time. Big screen is nice, but I dont want to feel my phone waggin back n forth as I walk.. thats frikkin annoying. That was one thing I didnt miss when I traded in heavier phones like the moto cliq & BB Storm for lighter phones like the SGS1. It disappears in pocket.

I hope that's a clear protector case, cause in my humble opinion I think it cheapens the look of the phone with all that glare. I tend to prefer the matte look and feel on my phones, but that's just me. Regardless, I'll be first in line the day it comes out!... :)

from the looks of it........it looks like the actual build man :(
13. remixfa posted on 04 Oct 2012, 06:31 2 0
and if you dont get a case for it your a fool. Once you have a case on it, the gloss look disappears regardless, so there is no point to worrying about it. :)

I also prefer the matte finish but as remixfa said, once you put a nice case on it, it'll be all good.

i'm starting to want that Samsung Galaxy Note II so bad, but i'm not sure how comfortable it'll feel in my pocket o.O

I made a mockup out of card stock and filled it with pads of post it notes to the height, width and length and taped it shut. Carried it around for a week or so until I felt comfortable it fit into my life. I'm a petite female and it's going to work well. I'm looking forward to finally having one device for everything.
Now I need to find a good bluetooth headset for the rare phone call.

I totally agree. Forget the "ugly back" (poster below), Screen Size is the reason to buy,
My g2 is heavier, and in landscape gives me 2 email messages visible in gmail.
I also agree with the bluetooth for the occasional phone call. My weekly usage is about 4 phone calls, 50 tweets, 200 text messages, 100 emails, and 60 hours of web and video playback.
Buying it the first day for the screen.
Thanks for reading,
