Let the lawsuits roll in...
Just like Sprint, this is misleading the customer because neither service meets the standard for 4G. I'm sure someone will sue both Sprint and T-Mobile for promoting a technology for something it's not...

Remember...to be 4G, speeds have to meet 100mbps...

jessicuhkelly, you don't have a Evo 4g. You can look that much at your screen to realize that the Evo does not have 5bars of 4g you dumb ass. The Evo has 6 bars for service and 3bars for 4g. Next time get your shit right before you post false facts. Also T-Mobile might have more so called hspa+ service But is GARBAGE. COMPLETE GARBAGE. The only thing they have is better customer service lol. If you have full bars of service and Still Drop the call, then your network is garbage. T-Mobile is #4 for a reason.

Dude...you make a good point, but that's clouded by how insanely rude you're being...for no good reason.

Ya, good luck T-Mo... they don't even have normal 3G where I live. They barely even have 2G... My friend has T-Mo and only has service in certain areas of our town.

This is really disappointing. Speeds don't really mean anything when it comes down to if something is 3G or 4G. 3G is 3rd generation technology and 4G is 4th generation technology. HSPA+ is 3rd gen technology while WiMax is 4th gen. Now if T-Mobile were to upgrade to LTE and supply those speeds, then they could call it 4G.

I really dont care what they call it as long as the Speed is there, honestly.
They can call it 10G as long as I get the the proposed HSPA+ speed.

That makes me feel sad.... my home DSL internet tops out at 1.5 Mbps. My Verizon phone tops at 3 Mbps on 3G. Can't wait for VZ4G!!! Even though it probably won't have 4G speeds, and probably won't be where I live until 2012, still. CAN'T WAIT!!!
