T-Mobile USA officially announced that the new BlackBerry Curve 8900 will be available in February…

why not? why would AT&T get this phone when they have the bold with 3g. the curve 8900 has no 3g and a step down from the bold which makes it perfect for T-mobile that is a smaller network with very little 3g, so i don't get why you would say that. Verizon and Sprint cant use this phone because its a gsm phone (well for now) so T-mobile is the best bet. i like AT&T and Verizon but hate when people bring another network down.

no luck, my friend... as #3 explained, at&t already has bold... why would they want a phone model that competes among its own branded devices?

Well, how it's any different from AT&T selling the Pearl, Curve, and Bold? Shouldn't AT&T get the latest Curve model as well?

Well the pearl don't compete with the curve or the bold. The bold and the curve that AT&T currently offers are running on 2 different OS, the curve has 4.2 but if you know your way around you can get a beta version of 4.5 (will slow the phone down really bad) while the bold and curve 8900 has 4.6 right out of the box. The current curve cant compete with the bold in no way or form while the new 8900 could draw attention away from it (if you don't mind not having 3g and a slightly smaller screen)

u're right romaine... but t-mobile really get me sick. somebody needs to buy them in a hurry please.

Why, dude? There's no reason for any of the top four wireless carriers in the US to buy each other; they're all going strong enough to stay in business.
