Thanks to an image of a device that has just passed through the FCC, it appears as though the Android-powered Huawei Sonic smartphone may be heading to T-Mobile with max-speed HSPA+ on-board…

It's been available here in Australia outright and unlocked for about a week now for a reasonable $248 outright unlocked no contract.

It's a great entry/mid level phone looking at the specs!
