In some ways, I think the Curve is a more important device for RIM than their high end offerings. Everyone I have ever met who was or still is a loyal Crack-berry addict started with a Curve. It is always a high selling device. It is very important that it is a flawless, mid-tier offering. If they can get some feature phone user to try and like it or unhappy Android users coming off low-end devices to give OS7 a shot, they may position themselves for a good fan base to sell QNX to. Most of the Bold and Torch sales will come from existing Blackberry fans, not from competing OS's.
