When is a Hero an HTC Hero and when is a HERO not the HTC Hero but other handsets instead?...

Over at Engadget, Joshua did a full on review on the HD2, and it broke my heart to see that the phone performance broke his heart. It's a gorgeous phone, but there were noticable bugs w/ the OS, despite htc gorgeous Sense skin-there was a point where the phone just straight out became unresponsive =*[ As for the GSM Hero, I'd love for at&t to get one subsidized, though I'd rather get one unlocked. I don't care if it isn't powerful under the hood, I'm not one to run a bunch of apps at the same time, I just love the form factor and it's the original Sense phone...that's a must have for me..

It is a shame, windows mobile is just a total piece of crap. Even with the nice Sense UI skin, the performance of WinMo is just not consistent. I don't know why they can't just make a good and stable operating system, especially when they are afforded top of the market specs like a snapdragon CPU. Plus, the screen resolution cap is atrocious. Just wait for the "Passion" or "Dragon" which is a touch hd 2 with android. That's the ticket!

IF only you were right.... saying windows mobile is a piece of crap makes no sense whatsoever. Of course that's your opinion, but factually its false.

HTC makes nice phones, but this article is messed up. If you're on T-Mobile, just get a MyTouch. I don't get the hoopla about the Hero.
