Haha. Get used to it android users. The carriers are not going to let you root phones for much longer.

it was pretty clever to actually include a hardware fix that stops the ability to root. more reason for me to go to mytouch hd since i wont be able to overclock the g2 to a full 1ghz

oh please! this is only a temporary set back, someone will work around it. this IS T-Mobile's flagship Android phone we're talking about here.
