T-Mobile plans on releasing the Samsung Gravity 2 in Deep Ocean on March 3?
Call it a bit unusual, but one really has to wonder why any manufacturer would release an existing handset in another alternative color scheme months after it has been available on the market. Sure we've seen our fair share of handsets, generally high-end smartphones, that are released with a new paint job a few months since its initial launch. T-Mobile is planning on making available the Samsung Gravity 2 in its new “Deep Ocean” color scheme starting on March 7 – it follows the current offerings in metallic pumpkin and berry mauve. The Samsung Gravity 2 may not be the most technologically advanced handset on the market, but it does make some out there hope to see other treats in store for this handset aside from just the color change. When you look at it from another angle, maybe this might be the perfect color that some people out there have been waiting for before taking the plunge of purchasing the handset.

yeah if i had to choose between the three colors it would definitely be blue. Orange was okay only because it was gray too and the purple was too girly. this should have been one of the original launch colors.

the current colors are orange/black an mauve/berry (basically pink n maroon). This new color is REPLACING the berry, not adding a 3rd color. Its the most popular "non internet" phone we carry. they sell quite a bit.

Bleh. I bought a pink and maroon Gravity 2 for my mother, I cant believe how craptastic the UI is on that phone. The Samsung Rant at Sprint is leaps and bounds ahead of the Gravity 2. I mean if you pay for the web on the Gravity 2 you're blocked from even downloading a web browser like Opera Mini or Bolt Browser... SUCKS!
