Whether this is part of "Project Black", we are not clear. T-Mobile has started sending out invites to a party with the guest of honor being the BlackBerry 9700. Or, as the invitation calls the unit, the "Wi-Fi enabled-Calling" 9700. A copy of the invitation was obtained by BGR which shows that a party will be held Thursday, November 5th in New York. The location of the event is only passed along on a need-to-know basis. BGR also heard that the L.A. party will be held 2 days earlier on the 3rd. Talk is that those invited will be going home with a brand new BlackBerry 9700.Nice. As we've reported, November 11th is the expected launch date for the device so that those unlucky enough not to be on the guest list can pick up a 9700 of their own.
