T-Mobile officially announces Dash 3G with launch set for July
All of the talk, rumors and speculation is now behind us. T-Mobile USA has officially announced that the Dash 3G will be added to the carrier's lineup in July. The handset is the first 3G enabled phone using Windows Mobile offered by the firm as they rapidly build out their network. By the end of this year, the number of American's served by the wireless company's 3G network will double to 200 million.

The Dash 3G will offer Wi-Fi, full HTML browsing, a physical QWERTY keyboard, trackball, 2MP camera and a 2.4 inch display. The handset will be powered by Windows Mobile Standard 6.1. T-Mobile USA will offer the phone in glossy black with red accents and no pricing information has been released yet. While the press release calls for a July release, we recently reported about a leaked product information sheet that showed July 15th as the official launch date for the Dash 3G.

The keyboard looks pretty cramped.
