T-Mobile not getting the iPhone 5 this year
This could be seen as bad news for T-Mobile customers, but we're not so sure if it's that awful. A leaked internal document has been released by TmoNews is stating that T-Mobile will not be getting the iPhone 5 this year. Of course, that may not be so bad because if you really wanted to jump on the iPhone bandwagon, we can't see how waiting on a T-Mobile variant should stop you.

T-Mobile not getting the iPhone 5 this year
The leaked document is from T-Mobile's Chief Marketing Officer Cole Brodman. The document says that T-Mobile will be getting 2 new smartphones, though no information is given about what those may be (Nexus Prime, anyone?) and ends with a flat statement that T-Mobile is not getting the iPhone 5 this year.

Of course, that could mean that T-Mobile will be getting the iPhone 4s this year, and, it certainly points to the likelihood that T-Mo will be getting the iPhone 5 next year. But, at the very least, it's clear that if you want an iPhone 5, you'll have to choose between AT&T, Verizon and Sprint if you're living in America.

i'm thinking it has to do with the deal being on the fence. maybe they wanna wait til the dust settles and release one phone for both (the at&t version) instead of doing a version for each.

They just proposed this deal so everyone leaves tmobile. They pay 3 billion dollars and they lose competition and take prices up

iPhone 4S is not too bad... I guess?

They've invested alot of time and resources on this deal with ATT instead of investing to keep old and bring in new customers. The longer the case goes, the more they shed money to lawyers. Stupid! There big sale is coming in the next few days. If there's nothing new showing, customers shouldn't go. It would just be a gimmick to lock people in for the next two years! All the while, verizon and ATT will be showing off their new devices coming next month and those who fell for Tmo's sale are stuck!

yes, because free sensations, G2Xs and Galaxy 4g's are a horrible thing. run run run away from that!

New Androids come and go every month. Tmo Sensation, thats old Android tech. Meet the HTC Sensation XE. G2X, who'd want a buggy device? Galaxy 4G? LOL!! Galaxy II and III is around the corner! Yes run and heres why. Look at the many posts relating to Android on this sight. What do they stress most when it comes to Android devices? You guessed it, specs! Its all about specs! Its a spec war! And those phones you mentioned have out dated specs. So why would anyone wanna go get and old out dated product? Also, Tmo's line up are never above other carrier's line of products. Example: Tmo has HD7 but ATT gets HD7S and will getting the HTC Titan and Samsung Focus S. Verizen: iphone 4-5 and all the super Motorola droids. Tmo, they will always be last in the marathon. They don't have a good trainer to make them a winner in the carrier race. They're putting all hopes in the ATT merger.

I am a T-Mobile subscriber, and I hate to admit that too. T-Mobile is always the last.

ive always assumed it would be the 4s not the 5, so until something says otherwise, im just gonna keep on assuming that.

Besides from the rumored specs, the only real difference seems to be 0.2 inches of screen size... wooptie wooo.
