If you’re one of those individuals that constantly talk on their phones, send text messages every living moment in between calls, and eat data like no other, then you may be interested in a special promotion that T-Mobile is offering right now to new customers.

Granted that you need to sign a 2-year contract and be placed on a $179.99 unlimited family plan, which provides you unlimited talk, text, and data, you’ll be rewarded with the opportunity of fetching yourself TWO brand new T-Mobile G2 handsets for free. You heard that right! You can get two G2 units for free; which can then take advantage of the two all-you-can-eat lines you’ll be paying for.

Not only that, but Big Magenta is even throw in free activation, which is a $70 value in itself, and free shipping as well. So don’t expect to see a larger than normal first month bill when you receive it in the mail, but sleep tight now knowing that you’re getting two fantastic Android powered devices for free! Then again, you’re sending $179.99 to T-Mobile’s pockets every month.

Yeah, too bad about the data still not being unlimited (5gb soft cap and severely throttled after that). Especially sucks when you pay that much a month. : (

With paying the kind of fees and what not each month, I think that all the phones should be free. Why pay $300 for a phone that'll more than likely be out dated within 6 months and pay $75+ per month just for service that the device won't be able to use.

its a softcap, not an automatic cap. and there isnt any overages. id rather be throttled down (which isnt automatic) than charged like VZW and ATT do... and its WAAAAAY less than att/vzw/ and even sprint for 2 true unlimited phones.

besides, you just sign up for the plan, and a few days later drop down the plan to the levels you need. bang, 2 free phones.
