Its cheap mid performance hardware because that WP OS to run super smooth and fluid. Unlike Android, dunno how many cores or ram you'll need to get it right.

Really, even as a WP cheerleader, I think this baby should be free on contract. It has the lower specs of the two Nokia's launched and, while blessed with a larger processor, really is not a better device in any other way when compared to the HTC Radar, also on T-Mo.
I am happy to see the rumors of a higher end Nokia WP going to T-Mo. I still am kinda confused why Samsung never released a Focus S varient on them. While they said they were not going to pump out the "S" anywhere other then the US, I thought a Samsung sitting as a top end WP option on T-Mo "3G on steriods" would have been a great match.

I had the Radar & I think that the drive app alone makes the 710 slightly better. I also think the 710 looks better already ordered a blue backing. Also the camera takes slightly better shots & Im finding that the speaker produces higher output. I wish people would stop calling this phone "low end".

I wish people would stop reffering to this phone as "low end"! If you want a great WindowsPhone and are on Tmobile or haven't experienced WP give it a look. I have had alot of phones! including the iphone4s & I finally feel like I will keep a phone for a while again at least a year. The processor is speedy! The camera takes great photos, Sound is great. Nokia Drive navigation also makes it better then the Radar. And you can order diff colored backs online etc. This phone is so much better then so many of the junk midrange androids that are constantly churned out! of which Ive had several.
