It doesn't look like Wi-Fi tethering and calling be coming out today, or any time in the foreseeable future, after T-Mobile officially came out with a statement...

Sigh, welcome tiered data plan soon..... These US carriers are damn too greedy and stingy on tethering datas... most other countries are giving out tethering option with data plans and even cheaper

T-mobile USA allows tethering without an extra fee. All this article is saying is that the G2 doesn't support tethering for now. Now if your comment was directed at AT&T then I would agree wholeheartedly.
