T-Mobile begins marketing of myTouch 3G Slide?
While the launch of the myTouch 3G Slide is not until June 16th, T-Mobile is trying to drum up some pre-launch demand for the unit with some billboards. One was out at a subway stop (no, not the sandwich chain) in New York City and another one was spotted in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It would appear from the copy on the ad that the carrier is not going to use the line of celebrities used in the original television spots. The myTouch 3G Slide is T-Mobile's flagship phone for the summer with the carrier giving the line top billing with the hope that 8% of all handset sales come from the myTouch brand. The focus of the ads will once again be the idea that the device is customizable with a number of accessories that personalize your phone.
