I'm disappointed too that this phone doesn't have 3g. I don't understand why GSM providers keep coming out with EDGE Blackberry phones, when Verizon and Sprint are putting EVDO on theirs. T-Mobile really needs a good 3g Blackberry. The Samsung Highlight's and G1 phones just don't cut it.

Yeah bro, I don't get it either. Maybe BB doesn't want to put in another radio for us Tmobile people? That's what it seems like at least.

Wi-fi is a nice addition, but most people aren't always in areas where they have access to it. Even if I had hotspot, i'd use my mobile internet more on the road than at home. At least i'm fortunate to be in an area where there aren't many T-Mobile users, so my EDGE speeds are a little more tolerable. But yeah, it's time they get their act together with this. I'm hoping the gentleman who commented underneath us is correct, that there's one coming soon!

Yea Tmobile needs a 3g BB, probably in September (Onyx). But having a device like the 8520 in the lineup is ok too, for people that just want to read emails, and who don't really watch silly youtube videos in their mobile browser.
