T-Mobile: On Tuesday, Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus gets Android 4.0.5, but through Kies only
Share:
If you use Samsung's Media Hub, you might want to update your tablet because Media Hub will only work with Ice Cream Sandwich after August 27th. To be able to download the latest Android OS for the Samsung GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus, you must have the latest version of Samsung Kies downloaded on your PC or Mac, and the battery on your tablet must be powered up to at least 50%. You can also plug the unit into the wall. If you don't have access to a computer for this update, borrow one. If you're not familiar on how to use Kies, visit the sourcelink for step by step directions

Did you check your Development settings and the notification bar?

Hi, I have the same problem. What do you mean exactly "development settings and notification bar" . I don't see any of those options anywhere.

OK, it's 3rd week of Aug, jsut found the upgrade for my 7" Tab Plus. Had to use Kies to "get er' done" but now have ICS 4.04 on my Tab Plus Wireless. Looks better but will have to run for a bit to see what it improves for users. Hopefully I can psot an update after a few days of use. Thge device kept saying no updates but calling Samsung customer service told me to use Kies and then it worked flawlessly.
