T-Mobile G1 getting its price dropped down to $129.99
The original Android pioneer might not have the spotlight anymore with a plethora of handsets already released and some coming down the road. The T-Mobile G1 has spent much of its time introducing people all over the world at how this new platform holds up. With newer handsets speedily taking flight, the G1 is getting a much needed price drop to $129.99 with a contract – although recent news about the myTouch 3G at under $100 would make people think about it. In any case, the new price point is probably happening due to the eventual release of the Android powered Motorola CLIQ. Sure there's now competition for this soon-to-be one year old device, but the impact it has made is felt all around.

I wouldn't get this POS for free, let alone paying 130 bucks for it. Android is fine, not hardware & how it's built.
