T-Mobile G-Slate 4G tablet comes with Android 3.0

The T-Mobile G-Slate made by LG is the next player joining the tablet race. The newly announced device will feature Android 3.0 on T-Mo's 4G network. The T-Mobile G-Slate is expected in the coming months.


“The T-Mobile G-Slate with Google will build on our rich history of Android innovation and leadership and deliver deep integration with Google services,” said Cole Brodman, chief marketing officer, T-Mobile USA. Android 3.0 Honeycomb will bring a fresh new UI designed to better fit tablets' needs, check out the teaser video by Google. The update will add improved maps with Google Maps 5.0 and 3D interaction. Google Talk video chat is also expected and some apps like eBooks and the YouTube client will also get a facelift.

Now, finally someone comes out with a decent name that's actually cool... G-Slate babee!! Nice that so many tablets are coming out to keep the prices competitive!

I played with the score G and the construction is rock solid, the camera is super clear and 3.0 is a bit strange, but I'm sure it's the learning curve. I could not use 4G, but it is faster than the Dell Streak 7 HSPA +, with the better processor, faster acceleration of graphics and impressive screen resolution will be a monster of a pill.
