T-Mobile USA's Chief Operations Officer, Jim Alling, has stated that their company would love to carry the iPhone, but not if that means that T-Mobile has to make certain sacrifices...

I can agree to that. Blackberry and Palm made smartphones blow up, while the Apple iPhone made smartphones more consumer friendly and mainstream.

Yea...Blackberry really doesnt get enough credit for the smart phone era. At the time...having a Blackberry was like having a pager. You were considered somebody if you carried a pager. Same for a Blackberry.

What the iPhone did is show us you could have a good touch screen, all screen, lil to no buttons, no physical keyboard phone. (LG Prada arguments aside....lol) Other smart phones didnt get better until they all went to capacitive screens.

At least their open minded hopefully the iphone wont affect their customers unlimited data
