Swype now available for Nokia N8 and Nokia C7
The venerable Swype text entry method, where you quickly "draw" the word by connecting the letters onscreen, is now available to download for your Symbian^3 device. For the moment that includes only the Nokia N8 and the Nokia C7, but Nokia E7 will also benefit.

The keyboard performs pretty quick on Symbian^1 devices, and with the capacitive screens of those two, it will be supposedly even better for entering text. Text input was one of our biggest complaints towards Symbian^3, so we are thankful that the issues are being addressed, be it post-launch. Head over to the Ovi Store and check it out for yourselves, despite the fact that portrait mode support will come later on.

What version of Swype is this? I like the left, right arrows above the keys. I don't have that in my Beta version.

Nokia is an investor of Swype. Just like Samsung is.
