Surviving on the tablet battlefield: CES 2012 edition

So far, about 20 tablets have been spotted at CES 2012, and we are taking only the Android-based ones into account. And in all honesty, while some of them do look somewhat promising, the rest of them do not appear to have high chances...

Do not forget iPad 3!!! When it kicks in during the second quarter, well... 60 to 70% of tablet customers will be buying it. Probably 2/3 will be loyal Apple fans but the rest will just be chosing the best tablet out of the croud from the most reputable and solid company making tablets.... which is Apple so far. Android manufacturers are closing the gap but still 2012 will see iPad dominance by a lower margin that 2011 or 2010 as the matter of facts, but still relevant. I agree Android has more potential than iOS but there has not been even a single Android product that outperforms Apple product for a full year... and I am and Androud fan, too. Hands down, Apple still rules, I don't like them and I will by Asus TF Prime because I can customize and download and play whatever what I want but iPad 3 will be a better product, I know.... Still I prefer limitations of Android to even more limitations and restrictions of iOs and Apple tablets.

...so by that logic only 20% will buy the ipad because it IS the "best" tablet. I agree with your math!
