Trackball issues on BlackBerry Tour no longer a problem - says Verizon & Sprint
What trackball problems you say? Well, we recently reported about RIM's BlackBerry Tour having a return rate of close to 50% because of trackball issues. Most recently though, Engadgetmobile wad told in a statement that the Sprint Tour had problems with “early productions” units – and Verizon is also stating the same thing. So it seems like overnight that all issues stemming from it have been resolved – it actually only developed in a small percentage of early production units. It was apparently resolved really quick early on after the discovery – now there's little to no returns from the trackball problems. So don't be too worried if you plan on purchasing this slick BlackBerry device because it's been resolved – making it one of the most return-proof smartphones apparently.
