Waiting for the Windows RT powered Microsoft Surface to be released? Well, it might be a bit late to pre-order one online and expect it to arrive on time as the basic $499 model now ships in 3 weeks. However, it might be possible to get a unit on launch day – October 26, as long as you have a Microsoft pop-up store available nearby...

well, an ipad with the same price does not support usb, has no real multitasking and screen splitting, no sd card slot, is 16gb only, has no office apps and has a much feature less operating system and much more.

no multiple accounts, no family safety, no integrated antivirus, no smartscreen alternative, no screen clipping , no connected standby, no sleep mode, no hibernate mode, no restart function, no fast startup, no boot level security, no picture password, no administrative tools, and on and on and on

oh and i forgot microsoft's realistic paint app known as freshpaint, indexing and better searching system, usb cameras and other devices support, tv out, control panel as a matcheless system on windows.
