Surface 3 to come equipped with the new Tegra K1 processor, Surface Mini in the works

Famed Microsoft leaker spilled some beans on the future plans from Redmond, indicating that there will be a Surface 3 tablet in time for the holiday quarter this year, which will be powered by the newly announced Tegra K1 beast of a chipset from NVIDIA. The processor sports 192 Kepler graphics cores and a new CPU, obliterating the mobile benchmarks it was put through, with a launch scheduled to happen before July...

Pocketnow's article on K1 was so full of sh*t, never go on that site. Go on Anand if you really want to know what the K1 offers.

That's a very bias site against Exynos and Nvidia

Dude are u kidding me ? TM and Anton always bash Exynos in all their Samsung product reviews.
Taylor rejected Note 10.1 (2013) over Nexus 10 (which is a 2012 model) because of exynos SoC ! Their ENTIRE team hate Samsung products by a long shot.

Overall though this is going to be a pretty bad year for NV compared to their tegra 3 years, hopefully they can get a boost from MS partnerships.

Woohoo.. console quality games in tablet. Imagine if you can play something like these in a tablet:
- Forza 4 / Gran Turismo 5
- Call Of Duty
- Gears of Wars
- Batman Arkham City
- Elder Scroll 5 Skyrim
- Gran Theft Auto 4
720p resolution is enough for gaming tablet for the sake of performance. I wonder why laptop with entry level GPU like Nvidia GTX 710M still sucks for gaming and power hungry too.

I totally want a Surface tablet, but they need to step their app game up.

I'm assuming the Surface 3 is actually the Surface 3 RT unless Nvidia will be making a K1 with an x86 CPU or full Windows 8.2 will run on ARM (neither of which seems likely).
The Surface Mini would be a welcome addition to the small tablet space. With Lenovo dropping Wacom in the Thinkpad 8 and Dell's Venue 8 Pro digitizer suffering from a number of problems, the Asus VivoTab Note 8 is currently the only 8" tablet that can work well in the desktop half of Windows.
