A study done by FixYa, a community based online tech support site, shows that the Apple iPhone is the most reliable smartphone on the market based on a scoring system; Apple score showed the iPhone to be 300% more reliable than handsets produced by Korean based Samsung and 2500% more reliable than the phones produced by Motorola...

What I was trying to point out 3.47 is actually "187%" more than 1.21... And 187 is nowhere near 300.

Good lord, man, doesn't anyone know how to do math any more? The 300% higher figure comes from BGR, but is obviously wrong.
You can say that Apple scored 286% as high as Samsung, or you can say it scored 186% higher. If you don't know how to get these figures, hang your head in shame and ask your 5th grade teacher.
Finally, FixYa is comparing Apple's high end only phones with Samsung's entire line of high-, mid-, and low-range phones. I'd expect Apple to score higher just for that reason.
This analysis, though possibly directionally right, is misleading.
