If only Blackberry, android and apple fantics stop hating and cursing each other, the world would be a better place to live.

RIM is really successfully at creating a big interest (hype) toward BB10.

I really fell pity to those 'investor' that buy the RIM share without really seeing the product.....!!!!

BB10 is a solid product compared to BB6/BB7, unfortunately it won't make the android/iOS crowd change into BB10. and for most (97%) of current BB user would be better buying android/iOS.

The era of BB already over, and BB10 only prolong the death of RIM by another year. RIM will down from 3% to 0.3% in year, and become irrelevant.

I am actually contemplating investing a little bit of my own money in them, i can just see BB10 doing very well, better than that poor excuse of a phone OS MS has made.
I may also get myself a BB10 phone as a 2nd phone.

Even if people don't like BlackBerry, this is good news and I hope they do well. More companies and phones = increased innovation.

lol...you're nikolas.oliver!!!!

i dont care about that numbers... why dont you just accept the fact that RIM and BlackBerry will still be their!!

and besides...more companies, more innovations!!!

if you love your android that much, so let it be! but RIM and BlackBerry is always welcome to the world coz they are making huge effort and will bring new innovation and modification!

that is correct, in the middle east, blackberry is way successful, and when it comes to lebanon, everybody has a blackberry and bbm is a must!over 50% of people own blackberries, then comes andriod, then ios...but most important, BBM went too far to a point that my university has a bb pin to contact its students who are prefared to have a bb...

How can more company = increased innovation
what BB think of innovation is BBM and following the footstep of Google&Apple.

BB is dead
the Mobile OS war is a two horse war
and being the third is also a loser and will lost money

wow so much wrong with your comment

2 horsed race really so your saying these 2 os's will last forever and nothing new can gain traction....please get your head out your ass things change constantly whats top now in 1-2 years could be 4-5 etc nothing is concrete

second ofcourse more company's actually more choice = more innovation, if android , ios have to also compete with bb and wp8 they will have to step there game up more same for wp8 and bb they will have to do the same. this will result in company's innovating and trying to get ahead

Go RIM. Hopefully you have tested it as much as possible. The last thing you need is a bunch of bugs after the release.

I wish rim the best of luck, and hope BB 10 makes people start to recognize blackberry again. But honestly I feel they waited too long for this. it's going to be very difficult to compete with Android and IOS and maybe even wp8. The only way I see them competing is if they bring something groundbreaking to the table.

uhhmmm...no its not that long... why, you want a device with full of bugs after release? i think that' what happen to WP8 coz i see a lt of trend on nokia lumia 920 and other WP8, they saw a lot of bugs...

maybe BB10 might have a bug, but very minimal!

"it's going to be very difficult to compete with Android and IOS and maybe even wp8"

i disagree with this statement! BB10 has more potential than WP! last quarter just prove that! coz if WP is really working, even with nokia with it, WP overtake BB7 and RIM should be down...but no, RIM is on top 3 while nokia is top 11! so BB10 will be just fine after release! coz its ecosystem is growing fast, now that a lot of andriod and even iOS and some other C++ devs are supporting BB10 so games and apps wont be a problem!!! that's why its good to invest on RIM now!!!

but still hoping these 4 (wishing that jolla and maybe firefox too) to compete!!! but with fare share! :)

BB10 will have a hard time to compete with the Google innovation speed.

It might sell well in 1 month only for pikapowerize
but even pikapowerize won't buy 10 BB10
so it will die after 2-3 month

Good luck for all the 1d10ts that spend money for it

But isn't it obvious? Don't you think that RIM has made a huge mistake by holding back BB10 for so long? Google is owning everyone's a$$ when it comes to innovation. Apple is kind of behind but will catch up next year with iOS 7. Windows phone just needs few more improvements. BB 10 may extend RIMs life but for how long? Do you think it has any killer features?

well i agree they have left it late, but doesnt mean the late player cant get back into the game

google isnt owning everyones as in innovation, no offence but they didnt innovate with android it evolved. not saying google aint innovating just in terms of android its evolving

as for killer features i dont know, i hope it brings something. it may pull back those who used to use bb phones etc

but i agree its a tough order, but until there dead i will be hoping they do well

if WP is really working and popular, nokia should be on sky high right now! and 3 quarters is enough to prove that the WP plan is working! they should be back on top 10 manufacturer! but no! it just got worst! they are now top 11! while RIM on top 3!

you cant say that BB10 will be dead on arrival coz BB10 has more potential than what can WP8 could actually offer! yeah the live tiles and resizable tiles is good! but still not enough to impress most people!

RIM needs more time and 2013 is a good new start for them!

ok i gree to a pint but i wouldnt say bb10 has more potential. wp8 gave a fresh ui that is minimal and informative. bb10 will need something big to stand out

and you say rim needs more time, well so does wp8, and android and ios all need time to develop nothing happens overnight, some have forgot that

again though this is all good for us the customer

but WP 8.5???

WP7,7.5,8 is also a big joke.

2014? I hope that's a type-o. I agree with nobelset..too bad there is so much nastiness between the tech companies. I am rooting for RIM myself, having had many Blackberries in the past and enjoying them very much. I have found pros and cons with almost all of the OS's I've had, but also with each one, have found many more pros than cons. Good luck RIM!! Looking forward to 1/30.

I am actually impressed with what I have seen from BB10 so far. I think they will still have a presence in the business market at least. It's nice to hear a little positive news about RIM since it's pretty much been doom and gloom for over a year now.

I cant love or hate an inanimate object, but i can be disappointed with it, as i was with WP8, it and BB10 are the two new big OSs coming in, so there was nothing wrong with me bringing it up, im dissatisfied with the one so im eagerly awaiting the other.

You come here calling me a hateful little person and then you want to say im immature? Hilarious! LOL! Surely even you must have picked up on that, unless you're living in some sort of reality distortion field. :)

Sorry to disappoint you again but attention is not what im after, i got plenty of that growing up, if it was attention i wanted then i'd be having an episode each time someone posts an opinion i dont agree with, i'd then call them a fanboy and simply assume they are hateful and continue to assume other things just to get a reaction, and maybe just try thumb them down, fortunetly im far too mature for any of that, i respect others opinions and would rather not assume all kinds of rubbish about someone ive never met off an opinion on the net.

so miss hatefull im gonna stay on your level of maturity and not give 2 s**ts. you believe what you like, ive seen it so many times on here its almost like a template for people now they follow

and nope we never met, good aint it
