Mobile payments is a huge new market that no one is quite sure what to do with yet. Everyone has a different philosophy on how to make it all work, and while everyone else is competing, Starbucks has built up the largest mobile payments network in the U.S...

Depends on how you want to spend your money. Buy Starbucks gift cards at a store (Kroger or Giant Eagle here) where you get points toward free gas or grocery credits, use a credit card that gives you a bigger rebate for a grocery store, then load the gift card on your Starbucks membership card to get free drinks!
