Square Cash now works with Apple Pay
Square, one of PayPal's main competitors, introduced virtual Visa cards in September. They work as virtual debit cards that pull money straight from a user's Square Cash account. Now Square and Apple have partnered up to bring those virtual cards to Apple Pay.

The integration was announced by Square's CEO, Jack Dorsey, at Recode's Code Commerce event, and it means that users can now pay with their Square account at every store, accepting Apple Pay. This includes both online and walk-in stores.

“I've been using this as my primary card for about two months,” said Dorsey, explaining that he uses his Square card for pretty much anything, including Netflix subscriptions.

In the meantime, at the same event, Jennifer Bailey, who runs Apple Pay, added that Apple is still looking to replace your entire wallet with its mobile payment app. Not just cash and cards, but everything. We're curious to see what Apple will come up with in terms of lucky charms, though.
