Sprint to offer contract-free LTE plans for all tablets, $15 for 1GB offer goes to existing customers

Beginning November 11, customers with tablets might hook them up to Sprint's network contract-free, and the price range is $14.99 for 300 MB of data, $34.99 for 3 GB of data, $49.99 for 6 GB of data, and $79.99 for 12 GB of data for new subscribers...

Well Sprint's LTE really needs to kick off in NYC for this to actually gain.

Why will i buy this when even my iphone 5 doesn't have an LTE and still run on 3G ... How people gonna buy this when there is no LTE network support almost all over the big cities ...!!!

Their 20% comment is inaccurate, at least with AT&T. They offer 3GB of tablet data for $35, one cent more than sprint's offering of the same. The other two prices (AT&T doesn't offer more than 5GB on a standalone plan) do seem somewhat accurate, as AT&T offers 5GB for $50 and 250MB for $14.99, last I checked.
I think verizon has simliar prices, but only 2GB for their middle tier, which would make sprint's statement accurate for verizon only
